Aspendos is famous for having the best-preserved Roman theater not only in Anatolia but in the entire Mediterranean world. The city was built on a flat hill near one of the region’s largest rivers, the Köprüçay (ancient Eurymedon). Aspendos owed its transportation links and development to this river and the fertile lands surrounding it. Today, visitors mostly explore the ancient theater and aqueducts of Aspendos.
You can take the Antalya buses from the stops located on the main street in front of our hotel and travel to Serik. From there, minibuses to Aspendos are available.
