Alanya Castle is one of the symbols of Alanya, a district of Antalya. It is located on a peninsula rising approximately 250 meters above the sea. The total length of the castle walls is 6.5 kilometers. In ancient times, the settlement of Alanya, known as Kandeleri, was fortified with the construction of the castle during the Hellenistic period. The current historical structure of the castle dates back to the 13th century and is a work of the Seljuk Empire. The castle was built by Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat I, who conquered and rebuilt the city in 1221, though its history extends back to the Hellenistic era.
You can take the Alanya minibuses from the stops located on the main street in front of our hotel.
